Q: When a non-Muslim married couple accepts the religion of Islam, should they be re-married before an imaam?
A. If they were married according to their religious rites and they accepted Islam at the same time, there is no need to perform the Nikah. If they were not married according to their religious rites or accepted Islam at different times, then a Nikah will have to be made.
