Is this Hadith authentic?
Sayyiduna Anas ibn Malik (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reported that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “When your sins are plentiful, then continuously provide water [for people], your sins will fall off just like a tree sheds its leaves on a stormy day.”
Answer:
This narration is recorded in Tarikh Baghdad of Hafiz Khatib Al Baghdadi (rahimahullah) with a weak chain.
