Kindly provide the reference for the following phrase, is it a Hadith:
“Knowledge will not give you a part of it until you give it all of yourself”
Answer
I have not seen this as a Hadith of Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam). Hafiz Khatib Bhagdadi (rahimahullah) has recorded this as the statement of Imam Abu Yusuf (rahimahullah).This has also been recorded as the statement of other Scholars who came after Imam Abu Yusuf (rahimahullah).
