Can you confirm the source and authenticity of this narration. Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
“Usamah ibn Zayd is among the most beloved to me, I recommend you treat him well for he is among your righteous”

These words appear in Sahih Muslim.
Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) mentioned this when some had found it objectionable that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) appointed this young Sahabi [Usamah radiyallahu ‘anhu] the leader of the army.
