My work place provides me with health insurance from a third party. It is free for me but other family members can be added with an extra monthly cost. Would it be permissible for me to add others to this health insurance?
Answer:
If the health insurance is free for you then it will be permissible for you to benefit from the service. However, it is not permissible to pay for insurance. Hence, it would not be permissible for you to add additional family members if payments are required.
