At work, they’re issuing injections for all pregnant and miscarriage women. And for post-op patients. These injections prevent blood from clotting. Blood clots in the legs and lungs can be life-threatening.
I have recently discovered these injections contain pork.
As a nurse, I have to advise patients to have them. As a Muslim, I need to tell them what it contains. There is no other alternative medication according to the pharmacist.
Despite containing pork can Muslims have it?

If the situation is life-threatening and a reliable expert informs you that there is no alternative to using this type of (ḥarām) medicine, then it will be permissible for you to use and administer.
Only Allah SWT alone knows best.
