Can a mother feed her baby without bathing just after having intercourse

Question:

Can a mother feed her baby without bathing just after having intercourse

Answer:

Bismillah

After having intercourse one should at least wash the hands and rinse the mouth before eating, drinking and cooking. It is also undesirable to eat and cook (before washing the hands) as it is likely that the hands will have impurity on them, therefore it is preferable to wash the hands before eating and cooking. (Raddul Muhtar p.129v.1)

Regarding your question it is desirable that the mother washes her hands at least before she feeds the baby. If she didn’t then there is no sin in it.
