1) Am I mehram to my Mami (wife of my mamu) and chachi (wife of my uncle)? 2) In one of your fatwa you said one can see his mother’s, sister’s, daughter’s head, face, arms, chest uncovered….what is meant my chest?? Does we can see breasts uncovered? M really confused.
Answer
(Fatwa: 988/D=143/K=1432)
(1) You are not a mahram of your mamani and chachi.
(2) By “one can see uncovered…..” if you mean that you happen to see accidentally then there is no sin or if by ‘chest’ you mean the upper part of chest, then it is allowable. But, this ruling is when there is no fear of fitna from both sides:
قال فى الدر ومن محرمه الى الراس والوجه والصدر والساق والعضو ان امن شهوته وشهوتها . (ص: 527/ج:9) شامي زكريا)
