Assalaamualaikum, I want to ask a question that, if a person getting a XXX salary and if someone from his relatives and friends ask about his salary, If he says less than what he is getting. this he said because of 1.society and 2.(Nazar lagne se bachne ke liye), 3.other people’s should not think themselves that they are getting very less. is this lie is allowed in islam. Please guide me based on shariah and islam. jazakallah.
