Is ghusl required if fluid is discharged without desire?

I was at university , when I was going to read jummah, I was going in the toilet to do wudhu and something came out of my penis. Now I was confused because I wasn’t sexually aroused or anything. The only thing is I’m getting married soon inshala and I am looking forward to that. This was the first timme it came out it was a clear liquid though on my black pants it looked a little white. I don’t know why it came out. But I used to have a bad habit of masturbation which alhamdulilah I stopped. By advice from my dad’s sheikh hazrat ayuub suurti in Leicester. Though I do get temted to look at women in bikini and stuff like this which I am stopping now to and if I do see it I do sincere tauba. I want a beautiful Islamic wedding inshala.

Now my question is that I read jummah after this fluid that came out after doing wudhu. Did my jummah count . And what are the duas one can read before he gets married so Allah can give him a beautiful Islamic wedding . I have out restriction on my laptop so I can’t even to near those bad websites .anyway my main question is about the fluid and marriage

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

The fluid you saw would fall under one of the following:

1. Wadi: This is a cloudy, thick white liquid that comes out after urine and sometimes precedes it as well.

2. Mazi: This is a thin, white liquid that precedes ejaculation and results from arousal and desire.

The above two (wadi and mazi) invalidate wudhu. If the fluid you saw resembled one of the above two then cleaning the affected area and wudhu is required to perform salah.

3. Mani (Semen): This is a clear, thick white liquid that comes out in spurts at the time of ejaculation and necessitates ghusl. [i] [ii] [iii]

A person should do his best to avoid watching or glancing at haram. Keeping chaste will enable you to restrict your desires and love for your wife. This is one of the main ingredients for a happy and content relationship.

In addition to avoiding haram, the following dua is also beneficial for keeping chaste and pure [iv][v]:

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْهُدَى وَالتُّقَى وَالْعَفَافَ وَالْغِنَى

O Allah! I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity and self-sufficiency.

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best
