Please advise me on following queries.

1)Can I keep my son’s name as Qasim… as some one said that there is hadith that you can keep the name of Prophet (PBHU) but can not take his kunniyat.
2) Is saying only Azan in the new born’s ear is the sunnat and saying Iqamat is not sunnat. Please can you provide reference in this regard.
3) If it is suspected that there could be the effect of Nazar on the baby..than what is the solution how can I get it cured.

1)      It is permissible to keep the name Qasim. The narration in reference is abrogated.

2)      It is masnoon to say the adhan in the right ear and iqamah in the left ear of a new born child. (Ahsanul Fatawa 2/276 H. M. Saeed)

3)      We advise you to contact a reliable amil in this regard.
