If a carpet for example is dirty (with urine lets say) we have to pour water to purify it. Now my question is, when you are throwing the water, and some of it splashes from the carpet up unto your pants, is that clean or impure water on your pants.

If the carpet has been purified by the water flowing over it, meaning that no smell, color, or taste of filth remains in it, and the water itself is also free of the smell, color, and taste of filth, then the water is pure. However, such water is not purifying, so it can’t be used for wudu or for washing away further filth.
