Could you give please provide the reference for this please?
Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah Ibn Mas’ud (radiyallahu ‘anhu) once ascended Mount Safa and took hold of his tongue and said: “O tongue! Say good you will gain and keep quiet from evil you will be safe, before you regret it.”

Imam Tabarani (rahimahullah) has recorded this narration
Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (radiyallahu ‘anhu) once ascended Safa, took hold of his tongue and said, “O tongue! Speak good you will gain, remain silent from evil you will be safe, [else] you will regret.” He then went on to say, I heard Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) say: “The majority of man’s sins emanate from his tongue.”

Hafiz ‘Iraqi has declared the narration sound (hasan) and Hafiz Haythami has declared the narrators as authentic.
