Inheritance Dilemma: How Much Will a Widow, Son, and Daughter Receive?

Q: A man died leaving behind a pregnant wife, a son and daughter. How much will each one recieve?

A: Presently, the estate will be divided into 160 equal shares and distributed as follows:

The wife will receive 20 shares
The son will receive 56 shares
The daughter will receive 28 shares.

The remaining 56 shares will be kept aside for the newborn. If it is a boy, he will receive the entire 56 shares. If it is a girl, she will receive 35 shares. Thereafter, from the remaining 21 shares, 14 shares will be given to the son, giving him a total of 70 shares, and 7 shares will be given to the daughter giving her a total of 35 shares.
