Translation of the word الذكرى

Q: Someone posted a Quranic verse that ‘indeed reminders benefit believers’. When I checked the translation, it said that ‘the reminder benefits the believers’. Is the translation from before incorrect?

Bismillaah

A: That is also correct. The word الذكرى can be translated in the singular as well as the plural context considering the jins ma’na.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
