Is it mandatory to wear a suit and tie as an Islamic lecturer in a semi-governmental institute?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Jamia Binoria
I have been working for 6 years as an Islamic lecturer in a semi-governmental institute managed by the government of Baluchistan. There is now a new principal in our institute who is imposing wearing suits and ties on all of the lecturers.

The new principal should continue implementing the national mode of dress. He shouldn’t impose any specific color or uniform on the lecturers because people are recognized and valued because of their customs and traditions. For this reason, the principal should refrain from imposing suits and ties as a uniform on the lecturers. However, if the principal imposes wearing suits and ties, it is okay to wear it, but one should make sure ones pants remains over his ankles, and the clothes is made is from such material that does not reveal the shape of one limbs.
