Sir, some children come to me to learn QUR’AN. Can I take money from them because they are connected to well to do families. What my parents think is that it is not a bad thing to request money from them. But I have a firm Eemaan ALHAMDULILLAH and I wish to do only what ALLAH likes. Please reply to this early. Jazakallah

Teaching Qur’an, giving Azan, doing Imamath and any such Ibadath upon which the constancy of the Deen is based, have been considered permissible by Ulemas to do on wages since the purpose is, spreading of Deen and the safety of Deen. Therefore it is permissible for the applicant to take wages and teach. However, If he can have some other way of income and render the said service without taking wages, it would be so much better.
Allah knows best.
