I have installed a Quran application. Can I take my phone to the bathroom?

I want to know if I have a mobile phone on which I have installed a Quran application, can I take my phone with me while going to the bathroom?

If while entering the bathroom, the Quranic verses are not on the screen, then it is okay if one enters the bathroom with his phone.
