Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by HadithAnswers.com

Question

What is the authenticity of the Hadith in Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah reported by ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr (radiyallahu ‘anhuma) regarding a palace in Jannah called ‘Adn’ which has 5000 doors?

Answer

The narration you are referring to in Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah is as follows:

Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr (radiyallahu ‘anhuma) said: “There is a palace in Jannah called ‘Adn’ which has 5000 doors. Each of these doors [lead to] 5000 additional doors and each of these doors have 5000 [Yemeni garments] upon them.” Ya’la [one of the narrators] said: “I think he then said, ‘Only a Nabi, siddiq or martyr will be granted access.’”

(Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah, Hadith: 19726. Also see: Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah, Hadith: 19739, Tafsir Tabari; Jami’ul Bayan, Surah Tawbah, Verse: 72, vol. 11 pg. 563 and Surah Ra’d, Verse: 23-24, vol. 13 pg. 512)

Shaykh Muhammad ‘Awwamah (hafizahullah) has graded the chain sound (hasan).

(Footnotes on Musannaf, Hadith: 19726)

The narration should be quoted as reported, i.e. As the statement of Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr (radiyallahu ‘anhuma)
