Clarification of the word رضا

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by HadithAnswers.com

In the following Hadith is the word رضاء (with hamza) an error?

It is mentioned like this in some commentaries e.g Malimus sunan with hamza

Answer

In the following references which I have checked, the word is written as رضا [without the hamzah]. This includes Ma’alimus Sunan as published by Maktabatul Ma’arif.

(Ma’alimus Sunan, Hadith: 1448; Abu Dawud, Hadith:1503; Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 3555; Sunan Nasa’i, Hadith: 1352; Sahih Muslim with Minhaj, Hadith: 6851; Musnad Ahmad, vol. 6 pg. 325)

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
