Is this du’a authentic?
اللهم اجعلني مباركا اينما كنت
Allahummaj ‘alni mubarakan ayna ma kuntu
Answer
I have not come across this as a du’a in any Hadith source.
However, the meaning is correct and could be recited on condition that a person does not regard it to be a Sunnah du’a.
‘Isa (‘alayhis salam) had used similar words. Allah Ta’ala mentions:
وَجَعَلَنِي مُبَارَكًا أَيْنَمَا كُنْتُ
“He has made me blessed wherever I may be”
(Surah Maryam, Verse: 31. Also see: Hilyatul Awliya, vol. 3 pg. 25 and Jami’u Bayanil ‘Ilmi Wa Fadlihi, Hadith: 798-799)
