A virtue of visiting a Muslim and visiting a sick Muslim

Answered according to Hanafi Fiqh by

Is the following narration reliable?

Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said, “Whoever visits his Muslim brother becomes absorbed in the mercy of Allah until he returns and whoever visits his sick brother is absorbed in the mercy of Allah until he returns”

Imam Tabarani (rahimahullah) has recorded this narration on the authority of Sayyiduna Safwan ibn ‘Assal (radiyallahu ‘anhu) with a very weak chain.

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
