If someone eats something that is haram without realizing it, what should they do?

What should one do if they by mistakenly eaten haram without realizing? is it still sinful? does our dua get qubul?

Answer

(Fatwa: 824/534/H=1432)

What do you mean by haram? It should have been clear. However, such a person should perform taubah (repentance) sincerely. His sins shall be purged away if he is true in his taubah and there will remain nothing to hinder his dua to be accepted, in-sha-Allah.
