Is it necessary to do qasr when travelling to my father-in-law’s house?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
I am going to my father-in-law’s house. His house is far away (200 km) from my house. Shall I have to do qasr? Now which rule should I follow. Please suggest me.

Answer

(Fatwa: 170/L=95/TL=1433)

If you do not intend to live in your father-in-laws’ house, then it shall not be considered your native place. Hence if you go to your father-in-laws without an intention to stay for fifteen days then you shall do qasr at your father-in-laws’ house and in the way.
