Asslamualyikum, I want to ask that can we wear taweezat. i have listen from somewhere that it is shirk please explain.

A taweez (amulet) which contains the verse of the holy Quran or the duas which are proved is allowed. And the taweez in which help is sought from devil and jinn or the words of kufr are written therein or it contains a mantar having no meaning, then carrying such types of taweez is certainly shirk, it was forbidden in hadith.
