The Quran is the sacred book for guidance of all people and inspiring them towards the Hereafter life. It is revealed by Allah Almighty. The Holy Quran is not a science or geography book in which incidents occurring in future have been narrated stage by stage in details or new discoveries have been exposed, or the boundaries of all countries and regions have been defined and all available religions have been analysed. The anecdotes and stories of the previous nations and Prophets related in the Holy Quran are not meant to tell the history but they are meant to provide forewarning and exhorting by reminding those anecdotes, asking people to take a lesson from the preaching and sermonizing of the prophets. On other hand, it makes obvious that these true and farseeing anecdotes of the previous nations and the people are being presented by the personality (i.e. the Prophet) who is unlettered; he did not receive such kind of knowledge by anyone; therefore, it is sure that he is informed by Allah Almighty and the word recited by him is not a word of human being but the word of Allah Almighty.
