Allah’s limits, can he speak a lie ?

does allahs powers have any limits. it says in the quran ‘wa hu waa alaa kulli shay’in qadeer.’ does this mean allah can do bad things. also what is the issue regarding allah has the ability to lie is this true. brealwis say lying is a defect and allah is free from defects so its impossible what is the deobandi stance please give detail answere with proof

Moulana Rashid Ahmad Gangohi [ra] had clearly mentioned in Fatawa Rashidiyyah (pg.93) that if anyone says that Allah lies or even thinks that Allah lies can never be a Mu’min. He will be regarded as a Kaafir. Allah states, ‘Wa man asdaqu minallaahu qeela’ (Who is more truthful than Allah).

Allah has the power to do anything. Allah also has the quality of Adl (Justice). Whatever Allah does is right and just.
