Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

in a very rude loud and arrogant manner i told him no it’s not. what can i do besides ask for forgivness from ALLAH (SWT) to erase and make up for what i did? also when i was in ninth grade ( two years ago) i used to steal candy from my teacher. besides asking for forgivness from ALLAH (SWT) is it ok if i tell my tecaher what i did and replace her candy.

Answer

If you sincerely asked for forgiveness to Allah, that is sufficient. In future, you should exercise caution on how you respond to such issues.

As regards the stolen candy, you have committed a major sin. You should seek sincere repentance to Allah and also replace the candy to your teacher. There is no need to inform her that you stole her candy. You may offer the candy to her as a gift. Do not repeat such a crime in future. Know well, Allah is All-Seeing.
