Donning Ihram whilst in the state of impurity

Alhamdulillah I went for umrah, the problem is that I had Ihtilaam in the airplane, so when we were passing the miyqaat, I was unable to make the two rakaats for putting on my Ihraam. I did recite labaik.

Is my umrah valid?

Answer

In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

If you put on the two cloths of Ihraam and recited the Labbaik, then your Ihraam is valid. The two Rakaats when donning the Ihraam is Sunnah[1]. The two rakaats Salaah is not necessary for the validity of your Ihraam.

If you did not wear the Ihraam cloths, and you wore your normal clothing when passing the meeqaat after having made niyyah of Ihraam and reciting the Labbaik then, you have violated the laws of Ihraam. If so, you may enquire from us regarding that.

But we talk once in a while. and willing to come back to each other and since that day till today have not talked about divorce at all nor she remembers the incident and she has not inform her parents about it as well.   My question to you sir is does my Talaq counts or not under this conditions. As I am confused have ref to so many fatwas and everywhere its different.   And secondly if you’re really out of our mind and pronounced divorce without knowing the consequences of it does it counts.  In the name of Allah, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful.
