My wife always insists me to find a job for her but I am very much against doing that. She always complains of getting bored at home. We have two kids aged 7 & 3. Also, she talks to me in an accusing way that I will not give her enough money to shop freely and complains that I give major portion of my salary to my parents. It’s true that I give whatever my parents are entitled for their survival and the rest I spend with my family here. Please advise me what should I do to maintain the harmony.
1. Quite often, women tend to say something and mean something else. It seems your wife insists she wants to work is because she feels bored at home. Try spending more time with her or try to make her time at home more worthwhile. Get her something to do at home. Keep her occupied and create some challenge for her.
2. Be more equitable with your salary. Don?t give a major portion of it to your parents. Give them what they need by all means. However, spend freely on your wife as well.
