Question

What is the reference for this Hadith?

la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah is one of the doors of Jannah

Answer

Imam Tirmidhi (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith.

Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) once passed by Sayyiduna Qays ibn ‘Ubadah (radiyallahu ‘anhuma) who had just completed offering Salah, prodded him with his foot and said, ‘Should I not show you one of the doors of Jannah?’ Sayyiduna Qays ibn ‘Ubadah (radiyallahu ‘anhuma) replied, ‘Certainly!’
