Answered according to Hanafi Fiqh by HadithAnswers.com

What is the authenticity of this Hadith?

Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “There is not anyone upon the earth who says: ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest, and there is no might nor power except by Allah, except that his sins shall be pardoned, even if they were like the foam of the sea.”

Answer

Imam Tirmidhi (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith on the authority of Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr (radiyallahu ‘anhuma). He has declared the Hadith sound (hasan).

(Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 3460)

The Arabic text of the du’a:

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ

La ilaha illallahu wallahu akbaru wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
