Can my wife have an abortion due to health and family challenges?

I have a question regarding the permissibility of carrying out an abortion on babies with genetic diseases such as Cystic Fibrosis. Scientists can now actually determine at a stage (before 120 days) weather this child will suffer from CF. This disease basically involves the child growing up and living to the age of tops 30 years (if Allah Wills) and during these years the accumulation of bacteria and virus in the lungs due to sticky mucus causes 24/7 treatment of drugs. They would suffer many hardships during their life including being looked after. We studied this at college, and I know in the previous, the question has been asked about abortion. But would it still be permissible to carry out an abortion on this child knowing they would have a very serious condition during their short life? I mean, Abortion before 120 days when the ruh is inserted.

I have the following question regarding inheritance. My mother passed away last year leaving the following: 1.      Cash 2.      Two proprieties, one in UK and one in India ( jointly owned with husband) 3.      Land in India (jointly owned with husband) 4.      Jewellery   She leaves behind the following relatives: 1.      Husband 2.      Four sons (one passed away whilst my mother was alive) 3.      Three daughters   Four months before my mother passed away, she gifted her daughters two bangles each. Will this count as inheritance or will it count as a gift? Please can you let me know how the above will be distributed according to the Islamic law?

I stand for correction ,but i think that it it should be stated that the iddat will have to be still regarded as commenced from the divorce.ie.she does not have to restart counting her iddat from the time of the death.
