How are you and your family?

I thought a wife would be in the same level (rank) of paradise as the husband otherwise where would they meet to have intimate relations, can you please explain this?

  2. What does buzrugh, auyliyaa, huqooqullah and huqooqul Ibaad mean?
  3. Can women lead men in salaah? Please explain the resons because i’d like to be able to explain the reasons if someone asks me.
  4. I heard someone say that there is no evidence in any hadith that we have to raies our hands touching our ears when we begin salaah. Is this correct and also what is the proof?

Jazakalah and may Allah grant you and all of your family paradise and protect you from the hell fire and the punishment in the grave and always keep everyone in the straight path.

Answer

  1. Due to her extreme piety, she will be give the higher rank and then her husband will be joined with her. Just as if the husband had a higher rank, then the wife will be raised to his level. They will both stay together.
  2. Buzrugh: Pious servant of Allah
Awliya: Friends of Allah (plural of Wali)
    Huququllah: Rights of Allah
Huququl-Ibad: Rights of the creation of Allah
  3. In Salaah, the Imam has to recite loudly. If a lady recites Quran loudly, the congregation will be attracted towards her voice and wont pay attention towards Allah. Great women of the past like Hadhrat Ayesha radiyallahu anha and  Hadhrat Fatima radiyallahu anha never lead in salaah.
  4. For men, it is more rewarding to raise upto the earlobes. Though raising to the shoulders is also allowed.
