Many families have been destroyed between the deoband/barelwi fight, I want to know what is the difference between the two and is the difference so great that a deobandi and barelwi cant say salaam to one another and cant pray namaz behind one another? what are the differences between the two and what is the common ground between the two? my only maqsad is ALLAH may Allah give you the highest moqam-e-siddiqiyat
The base between the two groups is that the Deobandis follow the path of the righteous people and when something is innovative they forsake it right away. The other group doesn’t understand this and they should try.
If due to misunderstanding one fears of separation between them than one should not be afraid of that rather one should follow the truth wherever it may be and at what ever cost.
One way to avoid problem with these groups is to understand that Deobandis try to respect and preserve everything that comes through the medium of the prophet peace be upon him and our elders.
