Etiquettes with the Quran: is it permissible to have ones back towards the quran?

A person is reading Quran looking in the text (Quran) sitting on a chair, in front of the reciter a person is sitting on the chair with his back towards the quran but in between the Quran there is a barrier the back of the chair of the person sitting in front, because the chair is high so is this permissible?

Yes it is permissible and there is no harm in that.
