Puberty in girls

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Qibla.com

Answered by Shaykh Faraz Rabbani

If a non-menstruating (also never had a wet dream)female child has experienced what she thinks to be a “dry orgasm” with no signs of ejaculate and with no signs of penetration, would this make her baaligh and responsible for salaat, sawm, etc.? Also does a “dry orgasm” in a baaligh woman require ghusl?

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Walaikum assalam wa rahmatullah,

I pray that this finds you well, and in the best of health and spirits. May Allah grant you all good and success in this life and the next.

If there were a “dry orgasm” without any exiting of fluids, then this would not require ghusl, nor would it be sufficient to consider the girl to have legally hit puberty.

And Allah alone gives success.
