Arabic versions of pregnancy duas and correct spelling of “Istighfaar”?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftisays.com
Dear brother in islam

I got this Dua from website askimam.org which is:

rabb laa tadhayniy fardan wa anta khayrul waari theen.

And this next dua from website dua.org (101 duas)

rabbe la tazarni fardavn wa anta khairool vareseen

These both duas are to get pregnant (for getting a child) can you please type these duas which are same in ARIBIC because i dont know how to read them in english.

On the website askimam.org it says you should recite LSTIGHFAAR for getting pregnant is this word Lstighfaar or Istighfaar can you please type this for me in arabic too.

Also i have not got a reply for my last question dated a week ago.

Thankyou.

Bismillaah-ir-Rahmaan-ir-Raheem.

Assalaamu ‘Alaykum wa Rahmatullaahi wa Barakaatuh.

The Arabic text of the dua is as follows:

رَبِّ لَا تَذَرْنِي فَرْداً وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الْوَارِثِينَ

This was the supplication of the prophet Zakariyya (alayhis-salaam). It is a Qur’aanic supplication, and thus it will be best for you read it from the Qur’aan for correct pronunciation. It is a part of verse 89 of Surah 21 (al-Anbiyaa)

You can also refer to the verse online on the following link (see verse 89):

‘LSTIGHFAAR’ must have been a typing error. The word is ISTIGHFAAR: استغفار

And Allaah knows best.

Wassalaam.
