Khula’ after two talaaqs

Answered according to Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I gave my husband a khula but i’m going through my iddah but we want to reconcile. If he gave me two talaq already could we remarry?

Bismillaah

A: If he had given you 2 talaaqs and then there was a khula which he accepted then this will constitute a third talaaq. If it is as we have understood then there is no way to reconcile.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
