What is the Shar’i ruling on sin committed by the community of Hadhrath Lut Alailhis Salam in this community?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Jamia Binoria
If the sin committed by the community of Hadhrath Lut Alailhis Salam is committed in this community, what will be the Shar’i ruling on it? Please inform the Shar’i ruling with complete details.

الجواب حامدا و مصلیا

The act of the followers of Hadhrath Luth Alaihis Salam was extremely vile and cursed and very severe warnings are recorded In Ahadees e Mubaraka for it. Jurists of the Ummath have proclaimed rigorous punishments for this and this is the reason that among the Ahnaaf such a person is ordered to be toppled from atop a high hill, and to the extent that he be stoned and put to death. What is preferable is that legal action be taken against him and the ruler or the judge order against him whatever punishment deemed necessary.
