Do not abandon the invitation of Allah

كل مؤدب يحب أن تؤتى مأدبته ومأدبة الله القرآن فلا تهجروه

Answer:

Imam Bayhaqi (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith on the authority of Sayyiduna Samurah ibn Jundub (radiyallahu ‘anhu) with a weak chain.

(Shu’abul Iman, Hadith: 1857. Refer: Lisanul Mizan, vol. 6 pg. 312, number: 6005)

Translation

Sayyiduna Samurah ibn Jundub (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “Every host likes that his food/invitation is [well] attended and the food/invitation of Allah is the Quran so do not abandon it.”

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
