The mirror that symbolised Friday

Can you authenticate this Hadith?

“Anas Bin Malik (radiyallahu ‘anhu) narrated that once Jibril (‘alayhis salam) came to Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) with a white mirror on which there was a black dot. When Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) asked Jibril (‘alayhis salam) about the mirror, he explained that it [symbolises] the Day of Jumu’ah…”

This is part of the Hadith regarding a Friday, which is known as ‘Hadithu Yawmil Mazid.’ The Hadith is recorded in several Hadith collections with variation in the wordings. Among them are Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah and Musnad Abi Ya’la.

(Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah, Hadith: 5560, Musnad Abi Ya’la, Hadith: 4089)
