Answer

This narration is recorded in Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, as part of a longer narration on the authority of Sayyiduna Al Bara ibn Al ‘Azib (radiyallahu ‘anhu). The seven deeds that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) ordered the Sahabah (radiyallahu ‘anhum) to carry out are:

  1. To attend a funeral
  2. To visit the sick
  3. Accept an invitation
  4. To assist the oppressed
  5. To help the person who took an oath to fulfil his oath
  6. To return the greeting (salam)
  7. To reply to the one [who praises Allah] after sneezing [by saying ‘YarhamukAllah’]

(Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 1239, 2445, 5175, 5635, 5650, 5849, 5863, 6222, 6235, Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 2066)

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
