Commentary on the optional salah between Maghrib and ‘Isha

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by HadithAnswers.com

With reference to the virtue of offering additional six rak’ats after Maghrib salah (Awwabin);

I have read this post, in which the answer pertains more to the authenticity and not commentary.

My question is: Is the reward of twelve (12) years of worship here for each time you pray the prayer or is it the collective reward of having prayed it in your life? (ie – every time I pray the six (6) rakats, do I receive the reward of twelve (12) years of worship if it is accepted?)

Answer

The apparent understood meaning is that one can expect this reward for each time he practices on this.

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best,
