Is this Hadith authentic?
Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said, “Anyone who listens to people talking when they dislike him doing so or flee from him will have molten lead poured into his ear on the Day of Qiyamah.”
Answer
Imam Bukhari (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith on the authority of Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Abbas (radiyallahu ‘anhuma) as part of a longer narration. The Hadith is therefore authentic.
