Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam)’s close friend (wali)

Is this Hadith authentic?

Ibn Mas’ud (radiyallahu ‘anhu) said that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“Every Nabi had a ‘wali’ [best friend] from among the Prophets. My Wali among them is my father Ibrahim, the Khalil [friend] of Allah”

Answer

Imam Tirmidhi (rahimahullah) and others have recorded this narration with a chain whose narrators are reliable. However the chain is broken (منقطع).

(Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 2995)

The Hadith is suitable to quote.
