Spending one’s time in the path of Allah

What is the reward of spending time in the path of Allah?

Answer

1) Sayyiduna Anas ibn Malik (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“Spending some time in the morning or evening in path of Allah is better than the world and whatever it contains…”

(Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 2792 and Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 1880)

2) Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“A morning or evening spent in the path of Allah is better than whatever the sun rises and sets over”

(Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 1883)
