What is the ruling regarding a muslim brother going up for elections? As muslims is it right or wrong for us to vote, for him or any other party/person.
Answer
It is permissible for a Muslim brother to go up for elections provided that he refrains from all that is haram in Islam. As Muslims, it is permissible for us to vote.
We can vote for the Muslim brother, or another party, whoever is the best to rule.
