Q: Could you explain to me why it is forbidden for Muslims to eat pork?

A:

Pork has been explicitly prohibited by Allah Ta’ala in numerous verses of the Quraan Shareef. As Muslims we are required to follow the commands of Allah Almighty wholeheartedly without delving into the reasons and wisdom associated with the command. It is our firm belief that Allah Ta’ala (being all-wise) in his infinte wisdom had prohibited pork for our benefit.
