Is it permissible for men to remove their back and chest hairs?

Q: I have hair on my chest and back which are about 2 inches long. One day when I came out of the washroom, one of my friends said to me that I are looking like a shaitaan because my body being full of long hair. Can I trim my chest and back hairs with a machine?

A: Removing the hair on the chest and on the back is an undesirable act for men except if it has grown very long.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
